What to do prior to floating?
Come in Happy ☺ and know that you are going to be able to relax and let go. Bring your positive thoughts and vibrations and be prepared to be taken to a peaceful state of relaxation.

Please avoid using any perfumes or highly scented body products before your float. Please try to avoid caffeine and heavy foods 3-4 hours prior to your float. Avoid shaving, waxing or tanning just before floating as this may cause skin irritation.

Can I drown?
No. The water is only about 10-12 inches deep. Plus the water is so highly saturated with salt that you really have to try hard to submerge your head.

Will I fall asleep?
Maybe. Some people have reported the feeling of sleep. Even if you do you will be safe until you wake up. If you are concerned about rolling over in your sleep and drowning, you simply cannot without great effort, besides the salt would burn your eyes before you even get your mouth to the water, much less under it.

Will it make my skin wrinkly?
No. The salt in the water keeps this from occurring. Your skin actually gets wrinkly from tap water robbing your skin of the salt.

What do I wear to float?
Generally people float in the nude, but if you are more comfortable wearing a loose fitting swimsuit please do so. Salt is not your clothes or shoes friend so keep in mind when dressing for your appointment. Wear your casual, comfortable clothing, not your best attire.

What if I’m claustrophobic?
You may leave the door to the pod open to satisfy the openness, but it lets most of the heat out and you might get a little chilly towards the end of the float. You may leave the light on as long as you like to get comfortable. There is no pressure , if you don’t have a pleasant experience you may receive a full refund. We want you to be happy.

Can I wear my contacts?
It is not recommended. Please bring something to store them in while you float.

Are the showers private and equipped?
Yes. The Pod rooms have locking doors. The rooms also have a mirror, Q-tips, towels, body wash, and shampoo.

Can I float if I’m pregnant?
Yes please. Pregnant women benefit greatly from the relief of tension and overall inflammation reduction that floating provides. Please consult your physician. If you need assistance feel free to bring a friend to help for entering and exiting the pod.

Can Kids Float?
Absolutely, they love mini floats (30-45 minutes), repetition works, we do provide swimmers goggles to keep the salt out of their eyes when they splash around. Adult supervision is required at all times. Age 7 and up seems to be more mellow so supervision is recommended but optional. Good times.
